The California Highway Patrol recognizes
Young’s Commercial Transfer, Inc. for excellence in safety

Young’s Commercial Transfer is being honored with one of the most prestigious awards in the trucking industry for its outstanding safety record in the truck and at the terminal achieving the 2013 STAR Award from the California Highway Patrol.


Co-Owner and CEO, Scott Daniel and Safety Manager, Jess Nunez, of Young’s Commercial Transfer, Inc. will accept the 2013 STAR Award for Fleets of more than 20 units at the annual Commercial Vehicle Safety Summit luncheon hosted by the California Highway Patrol on Friday, September 26, 2013 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Ontario.


The STAR Award is the most recent in a series of safety awards presented to the company.         Young’s Commercial Transfer, Inc. has received the first place safety award handed out by the California Trucking Association for 2010, 2011, and 2012.

California Highway Patrol’s STAR Award honors the top commercial trucking company in California.  The program judges companies on specific safety performance including accident frequency, personnel and hiring systems, documented safety policies and procedures, driver-safety training, internal accident handling procedures, maintenance program, and BIT terminal inspection records. All finalists safety programs and accident statistics are reviewed by safety professionals from the California Highway Patrol.
